Rockford Police respond to a home invasion Monday night

ROCKFORD (WREX) -

 Police are looking for three men involved in a home invasion.

It happened around 10:30 Monday night on 700 Tulip Lane near the intersection of East State Street and North Bell School Road.

Police say a man and a woman were sitting in their living room when three black men came in the sliding screen door asking for money and electronics.

They ordered the residents to stay in the bathroom while they rummaged through the apartment.

The suspects got away with some of the residents' electronics.

Police are describing the suspects as:

1. Black male mid-20's, 6'1, 220 lbs. with a mask and white t-shirt, armed with a handgun.

2. Black male mid-20's,6'1  with a thin tattoo down his right arm, white t-shirt and red shoes also armed with a handgun.

3. Black male 5'7 medium build
