Madison police officer in Tony Robinson case wants to return to his job
MADISON (WREX) -
The Madison police officer who shot and killed a 19-year-old Tony Robinson wants to return to his job.
Officer Matt Kenny was cleared of criminal charges in the March 19th shooting death of Robinson. However, Chief Mike Koval says he's looking at alternative to the 12-year veteran returning to patrol role.
Kenny remains on paid leave pending an internal investigation to see if he violated department policies.
