If you're a fan of Lego Land, you won't have to head to Chicago to get your LEGO fix anymore.
Rockford Park District's Nicholas Conservatory and Gardens will bring out the bricks when it opens the exhibit May 21. The exhibit will include bricks and sculptures set among tropical plants, building contests and elaborate displays by LEGO clubs.
Nicholas Conservatory will have its LEGO model of the conservatory building on display, as well as its LEGO® butterfly, toucan, hibiscus flower, and other over sized LEGO flowers and bricks set among the plants in the conservatory.
LEGO exhibit hours are:
Mondays: Closed for plant maintenance and care
Tuesdays through Fridays: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturdays and Sundays: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Nicholas Conservatory Admission Fees:
Adults $6 ($8 non-resident)
Youth ages 5-17, seniors ages 65+, and veterans $4
Children ages 3-4 $1 ($2 non-resident)
Children ages 2 and younger free
