The 40th President of the United States, Ronald Reagan, grew up in Dixon.
He spent his pre-teen years in the home on 816 South Hennepin Avenue.
Executive Director Brandi Langner says although he grew up in the town, he has written about his fond memories of this particular house.
She tells 13 News that President Reagan played football with his brother in the side yard and even raised bunnies to sell to make extra money.
He came back to visit his childhood home twice after his presidency and ate lunch both times in the dining room.
The home is now a private non-profit; they don't receive any money from the government to run.
Representatives say they are always looking for volunteers.
