Lemont native and Game 1 hero Scott Darling will get the start in net for the Chicago Blackhawks in Sunday's Game 3, Joel Quenneville announced on Saturday afternoon.
Darling entered Game 1 after a three-goal first period against Corey Crawford, and pitched a shutout while recording 42 saves against the Nashville Predators. Duncan Keith won that game in double overtime.
Crawford returned between the pipes in Game 2, only to allow six goals in a 6-2 Predators rout that tied the Western Conference first round series at one game apiece. Now Darling, the former Rockford IceHog and local product, will get the call for a pivotal Game 3 at United Center.
Sunday's game starts at 2 PM, and can be seen on WREX.
