UNDATED (WREX) - UPDATE:
The DeKalb County Sheriff's Office released a statement Friday afternoon thanking all who have helped with recovery after Thursday's tornado in Fairdale. However, the office stated no additional volunteers were needed at the time and asked for a pause in donations of food and supplies.

The release stated rescue crews had enough supplies at the time and asked those who wished to donate to wait until further notice and to please not drop anything off in the affected area.
