Another sign of spring has arrived at the Nicholas Conservatory and Gardens now that the butterflies are back.
The exhibit opened today. And new this year are butterflies that were brought from the tropics here from Costa Rica.
"Our very, very first year, I mean it was pretty, we threw up a netting area, and we ordered butterflies, and we just did it pretty basic and people just went absolutely nuts over it. So, from that moment we knew it was going to be a big thing, and it's only gotten bigger and better every year," says Lyndi Toohill of the conservatory.
The WREX crew was lucky enough to witness a butterfly emerge early this morning.
