Tuesday, March 10th is the last day to register to vote before the April 7th consolidated election.
Grace period registration will begin on Wednesday. A voter registering to vote under the grace period law is required to register and vote in the Rockford Board of Elections office at 301 S. 6th St.
Absentee voting is also available. Voters may vote in the board of elections office or request a ballot be mailed to them by calling (815) 987-5750. An absentee ballot application is also available online at www.voterockford.com.
The main office office of the City of Rockford Board of Election Commissioners is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional weekend hours will be available during the grace period.
