WINNEBAGO COUNTY (WREX) -

The Winnebago County Coroner's Office says the victim in Saturday's fatal car crash is 19-year-old Matthew Hoeft of Juneau, Wisconsin.  Investigators say Hoeft died at the scene near I-39 South and U.S. Route 20 in Rockford, after his car, westbound, crossed the median, colliding with a tractor trailer headed east.  Investigators say preliminary information shows Hoeft was apparently not wearing his seatbelt.  He was ejected from his vehicle.  It's unclear what caused Hoeft's car to cross the median.  Cause of death has not been released.  An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.  Illinois State Police continue to investigate this fatal crash.
