Little information made public in coroner's report after police request
Monday, December 22, 2014 10:52 PM EST
ROCKFORD (WREX) -
The autopsy results are in for the victims in a quadruple murder.
The coroner's office said 24-year-old Demontae Rhodes, 24-year-old Martia Flint and her two sons, Tyrone and Tobias Smith, all died from gunshot wounds.
However, where and how the four were shot is not being released publicly.
Winnebago County Chief Deputy Coroner William Hintz said it was intentional.
"The request from the police department was to release minimal information because the investigation is ongoing," said Hintz.
Investigators said the four victims were gunned down on Saturday night inside a home on Montrose Avenue.
Police said Monday they are looking to question several people after leads have come in.
