The Salvation Army is collecting toys for its annual holiday toy drive.
Since this morning, the group has been out at Lou Bachrodt Auto Group collecting donations.
The toy drive is to ensure that children who are in need this holiday season will receive a new toy to open on Christmas morning.
"People know, they can come in for the 12 hours. We began at 7 this morning until 7 tonight; the toys just continue to come in, so it's a wonderful way to serve the community," says Major Steve Merritt of the Salvation Army.
The Salvation Army will still be collection toys until 7 p.m. Friday at Lou Bachrodt Auto Group.
