The goal is to help 350 families have a happy holiday season.
The Village of Machesney Park is holding its annual toy drive to benefit the Helping Hands Pantry.
The village is asking residents to drop off a few, unused toys to Machesney Park Village Hall.
"It is a sense of community. Community is all about helping one another, so, this is an opportunity for people in our community to do just that. To help their neighbors, to help people that they know but they don't know they have that need," says Tim Firm of Helping Hands Pantry.
Toys will be accepted during normal business hours Monday through Friday. The drive will continue through Dec. 14.
