Rosecrance opens new ware center for outpatient mental health services
ROCKFORD (WREX) -
A vacant grocery store will now serve the community as a recovery center.
Rosecrance officials opens its ware center on North Main Street.
The new facility nearly doubles the space for staff to provide outpatient mental health services for children and adult clients.
The non-profit organization will now be able to serve around 5,000 people annually.
"For those people in our community that struggle — and these are folks that live in our community, it's your brothers, it's your neighbor, your family — that struggle with serious mental illness and possible addictive disorders or both in our community, And we're here and committed to providing those services," says Philip Eaton, Rosecrance Health Network CEO.
Programs will be relocating to the new facility from the existing ware center, which is located off West State Street.
