The organization responsible for last week's Academy Expo at the BMO Harris Bank Center is looking at ways to make it better.
Alignment Rockford's career awareness team met this morning to go over the event.
Organizers say the event prepares ninth graders to select the right academy for them beginning in their sophomore year.
"These ninth graders come into the school, and they're in the freshmen academy and they know that in 10th grade, they have to select which academy they're going to. They've got to make an informed decision," says Earl Wilsey of Alignment Rockford.
Students from the Belvidere adn Rockford school districts took part. Alignment Rockford is hoping other school districts will become part of the event next year.
