Armed robbery crash victim pronounced dead

The woman struck by three armed robbery suspects last week in Cherry Valley has died.

Karen Williams spent the last week fighting for her life in the hospital. Tonight, the Winnebago County Coroner's office says that fight ended.

Police say the three suspects, 19-year-old Ronaldo Fort, 19-year-old DeAngelo Brooks and 20-year-old Bryant Locke took off after allegedly robbing a Belvidere cell phone store. Officials pursued the men when the suspects ran a red light in Cherry Valley on Perryville Road, and hit Williams.

The coroner's office says it plans to conduct an autopsy Thursday.
