Wisconsin woman charged with selling heroin to mom
Tuesday, August 26, 2014 3:38 PM EDT
By The Associated Press
SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (AP) — Authorities have charged a 23-year-old Sheboygan woman for selling heroin to her mother, who overdosed.
Sheboygan Press Media
reports Abbey Miller is charged with felony manufacturing or delivering heroin and second-degree recklessly endangering safety.
She faces more than 12 years in prison if convicted.
Police say Miller's brother called 911 in July to report that his mother had overdosed on heroin the day before. They say doctor's notes indicate she survived a "near-death heroin overdose."
The mother told police she paid her daughter $50 for the heroin.
Miller tells police she didn't give her mom drugs. She is being held at the Sheboygan County jail on $2,000 bond. Jail records didn't indicate an attorney.
