Janesville Police ask for help finding dog involved in bite incident

The Janesville Police Department is looking for help locating a dog involved in a bite incident.

At around 2:30 p.m. Monday, a citizen in the area of W. Racine Street and Park Avenue was bitten by a stray dog.

The dog is described as a light tan pit bull with white on its face, a white left front paw and unclipped ears. The dog was not wearing a collar.

The dog was last seen running in a northeast direction toward the 400 block of Johnson Street.
