The Friends of the Rockford Public Library hosted a book sale today at its downtown location.
It included new inventory of adult and children's paperback book price at 25 cents with audiobooks and CD's also available.
"We want them to get in the hands of people who read them and so it's been really good. I've seen so many smiles here today, people walking away with big smiles on their face so it's been really nice," Reid Ferguson, vice president of The Friends of Rockford Public Library, says.
Money raised from today's sale will go toward purchasing special equipment and materials to support the library's programs and services.
