The 38th annual PRO/AM tournament took place at Forest Hills golf course.
As is tradition, the day started off with a fun challenge among the pros in a 4-hole Best Ball Challenge, in which teams of pros faced off for a little bit of prize money and bragging rights.
University of Illinois grad Luke Guthrie came closest to sinking the putt on the challenging green, so Guthrie's team walked away with the money after a fun start to the day.
The Rockford PRO/AM is the longest running free-standing PRO/AM in the nation and has raised $3 million for charity since it was founded.
