Rockford police and RHA partnership leads to arrest

ROCKFORD (WREX) - The Rockford Police Department District Two Neighborhood Response Unit and Rockford Housing Authority teamed up with Gorman & Company to investigate complaints into narcotics being sold from a residence in Brewington Oaks, an RHA property.

After the investigation, police got approval to execute a search warrant on an apartment in the 500 block Seminary Street. The warrant was executed Thursday night, around 8:30 p.m. Police say they found suspected heroin inside.

As a result, 56-year-old Michael L. Howard was arrested and charged with possession of less than 15 grams of heroin.
