UPDATED: Tornado warning for Stephenson County expires

ORIGINAL STORY:
A tornado warning has been issued for central Stephenson County until 12:15pm.

The National Weather Service says a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located southwest of Freeport at 11:56pm and moving north at 30mph. Rotation was indicated on the radar. A funnel cloud has been confirmed, but no tornadoes have touched down. This storm is capable of producing quarter-sized hail.

Affected areas include Freeport, German Valley, Cedarville, Lena, Bolton, Orangeville, and more.

Everyone in the affected area should take shelter immediately.
