High-tech hunt at Klehm

ROCKFORD (WREX) - A weekend of family fun activities kicks off at Klehm Arboretum with a high-tech hunt. Klehm put on a workshop to teach people how to geocache. You basically use GPS to find things. At the start you are given satellite coordinates and then hike to the area to search out a hidden object.

"It really easy in this day and age to get stuck behind the computer or in front of the TV. This is something you can go out in the woods, you can go out in the city. What I like about it is I've been places and I've found places that I never would have known about," says Lucy Kallenbach, teaches geocaching.

The fun at Klehm did not stop today. It will be hosting Easter events tomorrow between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
