Stillman Valley student wins state environmental science award

A Stillman Valley High School student has been named the winner of the State Environmental Science and Natural Resource at the State FFA Proficiency Awards.

Ashley Adams was named the winner on April 5. The award is one of 52 State FFA Proficiency Awards. Five finalists for each award advance through chapter, section, and district competition, and winners will accept them during the Illinois FFA State Competition in Springfield this June.

Ashley's project will be recognized for potential in the agricultural, food, and fiber industry.
