SWAT Team searches Janesville home, 3 arrested

JANESVILLE (WREX) -

Three people were taken into custody Tuesday after a Rock County Sheriff's Office investigation into the sale of heroin from a Janesville home.

The SWAT Team served a search warrant at the home in the 600 block of South Main Street, shutting down the road for about 10 minutes. Deputies from the Special Investigations Unit and the Janesville Street Crimes Unit assisted in the investigation.

Police say the search turned up about one-half-ounce of suspected heroin, several hundred prescription pills, three ounces marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. A High Point 9mm handgun and switchblade knife were also recovered.

The following people were arrested:

  • James F. Gillard, 34
    • 2 counts delivery of heroin
    • 3 counts maintaining a drug trafficking place
    • Possession with intent to deliver marijuana
    • Possession of drug paraphernalia
    • Felon in possession of a firearm
    • Possession of a switchblade
    • Probation violation
  • Trisha K. Kienbaum, 35
    • Maintaining a drug trafficking place
    • Possession of drug paraphernalia
    • Possession with intent to deliver marijuana
  • James M. Norstrem, 28
    • Possession of marijuana
    • Possession of drug paraphernalia
    • Probation violation

All three are being held in the Rock County Jail ahead of a scheduled April 16 court appearance.
