April 16 marks National Healthcare Decisions Day and all three Rockford hospitals are hosting events to help area residents make informed choices when it comes to their care.
All three health systems will have advance care planning documents at events throughout the week and will also show the film, "Consider the Conversation" free of charge. Each event is just an hour long.
OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center started the week off with events at 1:30 p.m. and at 5:30 p.m. on Monday in the hospital's Hickey Board Room.
Wednesday, Rockford Health System will host events at 1:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., and 5:30 p.m. in the Funderburg Auditorium on the hospital's main campus.
SwedishAmerican will round out the week with events at 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Thursday in Conference Rooms A & D on the hospital's 4th floor.
