Brunner and ASU fall to Notre Dame in women's tourney

TOLEDO, Ohio -

Aquin High School graduate Sophie Brunner had seven points, 10 rebounds, and a block, but it wasn't enough to help Arizona State beat Notre Dame as the Lady Irish end the Lady Sun Devils' season 84-67 in the second round of the women's NCAA Tournament.

Brunner tallied 14 points and nine rebounds in Arizona State's first round win over Vanderbilt Saturday.

The Lady Sun Devils finish the season 23-10. Brunner was named All-PAC-12 Freshman Honorable Mention.
