RVC offers new program to get a GED

Young people in Winnebago and Boone County who have run into road blocks preventing them from getting their GED now can get some extra help.

Rock Valley College's new program "Elevate" is aimed at helping people between the ages of 17 and 21 get their GED.

The program offers any type of assistance including transportation and childcare and will even give grant money to those who successfully complete their GED while enrolled in the program.
