RFD reports increase in passenger traffic for February 2014

The Chicago Rockford International Airport is reporting a 6.2 percent increase in passenger traffic for February 2014, when compared to the same month last year.

RFD also reported an overall load factor of 91 percent for the month. Year-to-date traffic is up 7.3 percent, with airport officials saying strong performance of Apple Vacation destinations to Cancun, Punta Cana, and Puerto Vallarta are behind it.
