Two Rockford IceHogs players suspended

The Rockford IceHogs will be without two players as they face Chicago this evening at the BMO Harris Bank Center. 

IceHogs defenseman Bobby Shea has been suspended for eight games for fighting off the playing surface, as well as for an elbowing incident.

And Rockford defenseman Jared Nightingale has been suspended for six games for leaving the players' bench for the purpose of starting an altercation.

Both are consequences handed down from the The American Hockey League after their game at Chicago on Mar. 21.

Shea and Nightingale will both miss Rockford's games tonight vs. Chicago,as well as on Friday vs. Grand Rapids, on Mar. 29th at Grand Rapids, Mar. 30th vs. Chicago, Apr. 4th at Abbotsford and Apr. 5th at Abbotsford.

Shea will also miss Rockford's games Apr. 8th at Milwaukee and Apr. 11th vs. Milwaukee.
