Nicholas Conservatory Butterfly Exhibit opens this weekend

Spring is here and that means so are butterflies. Although it's still a little too cold to see the insects outside, Nicholas Conservatory has plenty of the beautiful creatures on hand.

It's the 3rd annual Butterfly Exhibit at the conservatory. It runs from March 22 through May 11.

There are a number of activities that go along with this event like a breakfast with butterflies, butterfly face painting and even an adult class on how to build a butterfly-friendly garden.

Because of the events popularity, it has extended its days and hours. Below is a list of times and days when you can see the butterflies in person.

Monday: Closed for plant maintenance and care

Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Thursday: 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Saturday and Sunday: 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
