Lucky ticket holders in Maryland and Florida are starting their spring with a significant addition to their bank account.
Two winners will split the $400 Mega Millions jackpot, the sixth-largest lottery prize in United States history.
Florida officials say their winning ticket was sold at a Sunoco in Merritt Island on the Space Coast. The winner has 180 to claim the ticket and their name and hometown will be released by state lottery officials.
The Maryland ticket was sold at Lady Liquor in La Plata. That winner can claim their prize within 182 days and can remain anonymous.
Both stores will receive a $100,000 bonus for selling the winning tickets.
