Seven fire departments respond to an Ogle County fire in downtown Oregon.

The fire started around 9:30 p.m. tonight at Whiskey's River Smokehouse located at 123 North 2nd Street in downtown Oregon, Illinois.

The smokehouse appears to not be an operating restaurant anymore. The fire took about an hour and a half to put out. The building is a total loss. There were no injuries and no one was in the building at the time of the fire. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. We will bring you updates as they become available.
