A contract agreement between North Boone teachers and the school board clears another hurdle.
Teachers and staff voted to accept the tentative contract. North Boone Education Association President Kelly Hanaman says the vote was not unanimous. But there were still enough votes to move it forward. Any changes will have to wait another four years.
The school board will vote on it at its next regular meeting in March.
After months of back and forth, the tentative agreement was reached earlier this week. The terms of the contract will be released once the board votes on it.
