If the winter blues are getting you down-- it could be caused by the foods you are eating.
There are plenty of foods that can help improve your mood including foods that have omega three fatty acids, like tuna or salmon.
Also foods rich in vitamin D like eggs, low fat dairy products, and mushrooms can help.
"Having a higher protein breakfast can really make a big difference as far as decreasing cravings throughout the day so aim for at least 20-25 grams of protein at breakfast," said Emilie Fielder, a registered dietician.
