Dan began his on-air career with WREX in February 2014 as thestation's weekend sports anchor. You can also find him reporting in the areaduring the week, covering local teams and athletes.

Dan graduated from Syracuse University's Newhouse and Falk Schoolsin December 2013, earning Bachelor of Science degrees in Broadcast &Digital Journalism and Sport Management. He worked as an anchor, reporter, andplay-by-play announcer for CitrusTV, WAER-FM, and WJPZ-FM, covering everyteam in Orange.

Dan says his career choice began at an early age. "For aslong as I can remember, I've always been drawn to the unifying force of sports,and the stories that come from those games and events. They bring peopletogether from all backgrounds, and at all levels. That's prettypowerful."

Dan is new to the Midwest, and he is excited to be a part ofthe Rockford community.


Little Known Facts About Dan:

1. I'm originally from Moorestown, New Jersey, located in thesouthern half of the state just over the Delaware River from Philadelphia.

2. I was a member of my high school's performing artsdepartment,  appearing in more than a dozen plays and musicals, andsinging a cappella and in the mixed choir.

3. I have more than five years of vocal training, and one of myteachers was nominated for a Tony Award.

4. I'm addicted to HBO, and will jump at the opportunity todiscuss The Sopranos, The Wire, Entourage, Game of Thrones, and TheNewsroom.

5. My career three-point percentage in Syracuse's Carrier Dome is1.000 (1-1).
