ROCKFORD (WREX) -

The group behind a long-term planning effort to improve Rockford's social and economic condition has scheduled another series of community visioning sessions for February.

Transform Rockford hosted several similar sessions in January and is hoping to reach even more Rockford-area residents this month.

The two-hour sessions are moderated by trained facilitators and include a discussion of the region's conditions, the values of the Transform Rockford process, brainstorming sessions, and a discussion over the next steps to take.

All members of the community are welcome to attend a session that's most convenient to them. They are scheduled as follows:

  • February 6: 6-8 p.m. - West Middle School, 1900 North Rockton Avenue, Rockford
