SwedishAmerican moving immediate care from Brookside

SwedishAmerican's Brookside clinic patients will have to look elsewhere for immediate care services.

The health system is moving immediate care services from Brookside to a newer facility about 3.5 miles east at 2473 McFarland Road. The new facility offers separate waiting areas for immediate care, laboratory, radiology, and occupational medicine services as well as bigger exam rooms, better working space for staff, and closer parking.

The clinic offers treatment for minor injuries and illness seven days a week without an appointment. You can call 815-391-7800 for more information.

Outside of Rockford, SwedishAmerican also offers immediate care services at Hononegah Road and 251 in Roscoe and 204 Prairie Street in Marengo.
