Travelers at O'Hare International Airport will be able to find an escape from the stress of flying with the airport's new yoga room.
The room opened on the mezzanine level of the Terminal 3 rotunda on Tuesday. It's 15 feet by 16 feet with sustainable bamboo flooring, floor-to-ceiling mirrors, and exercise mats. There are also frosted windows to allow natural light to filter in and a video monitor playing yoga techniques or nature images with soothing audio.
The room will be open from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. every day. The Chicago Department of Aviation plans to open one at Midway International Airport soon.
