Northern Illinois senior quarterback Jordan Lynch continues to rack up the accolades. Lynch is heading to New York City as one of six finalists for the Heisman Trophy.
On the season, Lynch has thrown for 2,626 yards and 23 touchdowns to go along with 1,881 rushing yards and 22 touchdowns on the ground.
Last year, Lynch finished seventh in the Heisman voting, so he's guaranteed to finish higher than that this season when the award is handed out Saturday night.
Joining Lynch as finalists are Florida State's Jameis Winston, Texas A&M's Johnny Manziel, Auburn's Tre Mason, Alabama's A.J. McCarron, and Boston College's Andre Williams.
