Rockford officials gathered Wednesday to officially introduce the online landlord registry.

The goal of the registry is to help reduce nuisances at residential rental properties by increasing communication between landlords and the City of Rockford.

Landlords must sign up for the registry by law, and the deadline to do so is March 1, 2014.You will need your property address, the number of units, and the name, address, email address, and telephone numbers of the property owner and property manager or custodian.
