With Sunday's storms and tornadoes destroying hundreds of homes in Illinois and Indiana, relief is pouring in from around the state and the North Boone Fire Protection District is doing its part to help.
The agency has set up a trailer at 305 West Grove in Poplar Grove where people can drop off supplies to help the victims of Sunday's storms. The trailer will be open through Wednesday evening and the department hopes to fill it up with things like water, coats, blankets, toothbrushes, toiletries, and other related items.
North Boone Firefighter Joseph Baraconi said the department will head to Washington, Illinois, with the supplies on Thursday morning.
