Rockford police looking for information on string of burglaries

ROCKFORD (WREX) -

The Rockford Police Department is asking for the public's help in solving a recent string of burglaries to businesses in strip malls.

The burglaries began on November 1 and have been occurring overnight in the area of East State Street and Perryville Road. Suspects gain entry into the businesses by forcing doors open and even shattering glass doors.

The suspect has been captured on surveillance video and is described as a white male with graying hair, around 5'9" tall and weighing around 200 pounds.
