The Salvation Army teamed up with Santa to bring the spirit of giving to CherryVall Mall on Friday.
The organization kicked off its annual bell ringing campaign at the mall's center court. Santa was scheduled to arrive at 6:00 p.m. to visit local kids with the Salvation Army Brass Band playing Christmas carols to set the mood.
The bell ringing campaign raises money for the Salvation Army's Christmas Assistance programs that give thousands of food boxes to needy families every holiday season.
