This Veterans Day the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum is offering free admission. Governor Pat Quinn says it is the state's way of saying "thank you" to those who serve.
Quinn says the state is inspired by what military and veterans have accomplished and says, "we want those heroes to be inspired by Abraham Lincoln's life and words." Admission is usually $12 for adults and $7 for active-duty military. Those who show a valid military ID on Monday will get free admission. Their spouses and children age 16 or older can enter for $7 and any younger children can enter for $6.
