For students at Auburn High School, it's an honor to honor an area veteran Saturday as they interviewed Mr. Travis Green.
Mr. Green turned 102 years old this year. He's one of the oldest surviving African-American WWII veterans in the country.
The students are interviewing Mr. Green as part of the Auburn Veterans Project. The group works toward preserving the stories of these veterans.
The interview was held on the campus of Rockford University.
