In partnership with agencies throughout the state and nation, the Rock County Sheriff's Office did a sweep of individuals with outstanding domestic violence warrants.
The sweep was focused on people wanted for domestic violence and non-support related offenses. Teams cleared five active warrants and attempted 64 more. Of the five, two posted bond, and two were taken into custody on three warrants.
The goal of the sweep is to raise awareness of family and domestic violence and hold offenders accountable. The sweep was held in concert with the National Family Violence Apprehension Detail.
