Cubs Ticket Prices Not Increasing

Posted:
CHICAGO (AP) -

The price of a ticket to Chicago Cubs games at Wrigley Field next season will cost no more than they did this year.

Crain's Chicago Business reports the Cubs also will designate fewer platinum and marquee-tiered games after team had its lowest-attended season since 1998.

The price of a Cubs ticket will range from $8 for upper-deck reserved seats for games with little demand to $112 for marquee-game club box seats. A 12 percent Chicago and Cook County amusement tax will be added to the price of each ticket.

Cubs officials say 21 games will be priced at the top of the Cubs' tiered pricing structure, down from 26 last season.

Season-ticket holders who bought the Cubs' "combo" plans for night and weekend games may see a price increase.
