Stephenson County businesses gathered at Highland Community College Thursday to get tips on finding and training employees from the Workforce Connection.
The forum included displays and presentations on topics like on-the-job training opportunities, tax credits, resources to find workers, using the labor market to project business needs, and the Affordable Care Act.
The Workforce Connection consists of a partnership between state- and federally-funded employment and training programs, economic development agencies, and educational entities.
