The teen who police say caused a deadly crash in Rockford Sunday is arrested and charged.
Dontrell Littleton's been in the hospital since that crash, which killed Dorothy Galloway. Police say her car was hit on Spring Creek Road by Anderson Japanese Gardens by Littleton. Galloway was well known in the Rockford area for all her volunteer work. Her husband was injured in the crash.
The 18-year-old is now charged with aggravated driving under the influence of drugs involving death, reckless homicide, aggravated driving under the influence of drugs involving great bodily harm, and aggravated reckless driving.
Littleton is being held at the Winnebago County Justice Center. His bond is set at $1 million.
