Thousands without power on Rockford's southeast side

Thousands of ComEd customers on Rockford's southeast side don't have power.

The company says its having an issue at the Sabrooke Substation near the ComEd headquarters at Energy Avenue and Seminary Streets.  It means roughly 4,600 customers are in the dark.

Crews are working to fix the problem, and are still investigating the cause of the outage.
